Hello World,

I’ll be updating this area regularly, though don’t be too eager to check, it’s not that regular (go back to work ).

Anyways,
Q) How to make TagThis less ugly.
A) I’ve got the web design sense of… (can’t think of a metaphor) well, a developer (that wasn’t half bad). So tagThis is a little gray box. I’m writing a small guide to customize the design as per your site. It will be up soon. If you’re smart enough to figure out how it works, redesigns, and it looks better by default, write to me at anirudh -at- anirudhsanjeev -dawt- “o r g” and maybe it will make it’s way to the main release.

An experimental plugin for the Compiz window manager allows users to tilt and rotate windows by holding down specified modifier keys and dragging the mouse. The plugin—which is called Freewins—was created by Rodolfo Granata (known to the Compiz community as Warlock) and is currently under development in the Compiz Fusion GIT repository.

Microsoft has made its newly-minted Visual Studio 2008 IDE (integrated development environment) widely available.

Through released to manufacture in November 2007, it was previously available only to Microsoft Developer Network (MSDN) subscribers. As of yesterday, Visual Studio 2008 is now available via volume licensing and also for purchase as a full packaged product.

Visual Studio 2008 brings many new features to the table, such as multitargeting and Language-Integrated Query (LINQ). Multitargeting allows the newest version of Visual Studio to build code targeting older versions of the .NET Framework, while LINQ lets developers do native queries without the use of specialized languages.

The study looked at the way design is used in these firms, how designers work with staff from other disciplines and how the design process is managed to deliver consistently successful results. How is design managed across complex, global, product and brand portfolios, we wanted to know. So we asked leading design teams how they select and organise their designers, and when they bring designers into the product or service development process. We also wanted to find out what skills today’s designers need in order to succeed.

When wp authors write posts, they may forget to tag the post appropriately, or older posts may not be tagged.
TagThis! takes tagging your posts to your readers, and when they add a tag, it integrates with wordpress and is no different from tagging the posts yourself. Over time, it’ll help you organize your blog’s information, make things easier to find, and help the community help you.

Almost all major sites allow the community to tag their content, so why shouldn’t yours?
TagThis is secure, comes with built in spam filter, expandable, and can be very easily changed to integrate with your theme.

Currently in early beta, TagThis has many new features coming, and will be released in a few days at brajeshwar.com . Tagthis uses the oneclick framework, so updates are delivered to you without you having to download and reinstall.

the daring can grab the bleeding edge version from the Subversion repository at http://wp-tagthis.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/
Please use only Revision 14 and above, which is safe for production servers, and register all bugs as issues.
